Ashley Avaregan

Ashley Avaregan is an accomplished retirement plan professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has expertise in partnering with small and mid-sized organizations to provide defined contribution plans and managed account services. He excels at helping advisors efficiently market retirement plan solutions, protect their business-owner clients, and grow their individual business with the employees they serve in their retirement plans. As a retirement sales consultant at Alerus, he is responsible for retirement plan sales in California and collaborates closely with financial advisors to develop tailored retirement plan solutions for their clients.
Before joining Alerus in December 2023, Ashley spent six years as a regional sales director for Mutual of Omaha, where he was responsible for retirement plan sales in California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Ashley holds Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses and is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator. Ashley has studied at the University of Chicago and Jagiellonian University in Poland and holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Rutgers University. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and has been admitted to the New Jersey Bar. He lives with his wife and two children in San Diego, California.
