Chris Bermel
Retirement Sales Consultant
Chris Bermel has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, specializing in variable annuities, indexed annuities, 401(k), and retirement income. As a retirement sales consultant at Alerus, he partners with financial professionals in Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah to help their employer clients accomplish their retirement plan goals and enable their employees to reach retirement readiness. He also works directly with employers to create efficient plan designs and assist in managing their fiduciary responsibilities.
Chris joined Alerus in January 2024. He previously served as a regional sales director for Mutual of Omaha. Chris holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business.
In his free time, Chris enjoys golfing, hiking, and volunteering at local charities. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife and their daughter.
