Matt Poppe
Director of Health and Welfare
As the director of health and welfare, Matt Poppe is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of Alerus’ health and welfare product services.
Matt joined Alerus in December 2020 through the acquisition of Retirement Planning Services Inc. (RPS). He previously served for 22 years as a principal at RPS, where he was responsible for the company’s delivery of employee benefits administrative services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial and retirement services industries.
In his free time, Matt enjoys outdoor activities including golfing, biking, and hiking. Matt and his wife Kerry live in Littleton, Colorado. They have five children.
